Solar Benefit Subscription

Your service subscription to a slice of a solar project, under which you receive Solar Credits.

Solar Credit

The rupee-denominated monthly benefit calculated from validated generation. Usable towards your electricity bill; not cash.

Solar Benefit Unit

The unit of subscription size. 1 unit = ₹1,000 of subscription, equivalent to 0.01 kW of project capacity.

Solar Benefit Capacity

Your share of project capacity, in kW equivalent.

Eligible Generation

The validated kWh attributed to your subscription for a period, used in the Solar Credit calculation.

Benefit Rate

The ₹/kWh rate applied to eligible generation for a period.

DISCOM

Your electricity distribution company (e.g. Torrent Power, UGVCL).

Consumer Number

The account number on your electricity bill identifying your connection.

KIS (Key Information Statement)

A short document summarising your subscription's key facts, given before you sign.

Allocation Certificate

The certificate confirming your subscription and its linked project after activation.

Nominee

The person you designate to receive your subscription benefits in case of your death.

eSign

Electronic signing of your subscription envelope using an OTP, legally valid under Indian law.

Commissioning

The point at which a solar plant is complete, connected and begins generating.
